Devon Matthews is a charismatic singer/songwriter, radio announcer, television presenter and event host.
Matthews has numerous releases and videos to his credit. More recently “Iron” and “From Today” are two hits burning up the airwaves. Devon Matthews voice has a powerful delivery. His passionate and energetic drive for excellence makes him a cut above the rest. He is the artist who undoubtedly surprises and captivates those who listen to him on radio and watch him on television.

Along business partner Kerwin Du Bois they both operate “HP (High Performance) Studios”. There he produces not only superb music but seizes the opportunity to assist the young people within his community so that they as well can realize their dreams and passions as he has done. He realised “Going with the Flow” which is composed with a beautiful acoustic riddim. The powerful lyrics are blended with a harmonious melody that illuminates the subject of relationships. “I like the kind of music where you’re driving down the road just staring into oblivion because you’re totally swept up by the song. That’s the kind of music I want to write- something that puts you in a trance. Feel-good party songs often make people dance and have a good time, but music means much more when there’s another dimension to go along with it.”

Born and raised in Trinidad and Tobago Matthews always has the support of his parents who have tirelessly endorsed his love and passion for music. His journey into Soca as well as his first performance was at age 12. That’s not all. He went on to establish his band Klymax and performed as it’s lead singer. Matthews is an incredibly intelligent person who despite the numerous challenges has remained focused. His dedication to music has also helped him along the way to become successful.

Some of his hits include “ Cause it” and “ Hold Me Now” and “Dutty” featuring Kerwin Du Bois. In 2008 he released “ Jouvert  “ and the next titles “wine Down”. Both songs propelled him to Groovy Soca Monarch semi finals the same year. The highly acclaimed “Wine Down” video received heavy rotation on both Synergy and Tempo networks. It exhibited his progression and growth in the field as well as his desire to put Soca music on the carnival road map.

Matthews has gone borders. His performances reached as far as the music festival in St.Kitts. There he performed alongside KC and the Sunshine band, Beres Hammond and hip hop star Tpain.
This multitalented artist has produced several pieces alongside Kerwin Du Bois, Angelo Pantin, Neil Bernard, Joe Miller, and Marc Abdul Mohammed.
