I celebrate 10 years working in the media this year.
I started off in television in 2000, TTT channels 2 & 13 doing an Indian oriented programme called Bollywood Hit Videos.This experience was the beginning of my love for the media industry.
I realized that I had some potential in the area and pursued a 10 week course at The Announcers Broadcasting Academy (ABA) with one of the most influential radio personalities in the industry, Holly Thomas.
After placing first in the class, I then did Indian radio at NBN and stayed there till it ceased operations.
After a short stint in teaching I went on to Hot 93 and RED 96.7Fm.
I then ventured back into television and was one of the hosts of various programmes (Chutney Sundays, Entertainment News, and most well known for the show Roll Call) at the popular local television station, Synergy Tv, where I worked for two and a half years.
Then it was time to move on and now here I am educating and entertaining the masses at Hitz 107.1Fm and the sister station RED 96.7Fm once again.
I have hosted major carnival shows, concerts, events and continue to do what I loves to do with the best of my ability, while showcasing my fun loving personality to the world via the radio waves and our websites.
As my ultimate saying goes at the end of each programme: Thank you for letting me into your home and heart always...

Hobbies: Dancing (trained classical Indian dancer, ballet), watching movies, hanging out with family and friends and playing with her two gorgeous dogs.
